Position Summary: Under limited supervision, works from production drawings, wiring diagrams, Bills of Materials, wire lists, sketches and verbal instructions to perform standard and repetitive assembly operations.

General Purpose: Assemble complex sub-assemblies and complex upper level systems at the direction of the Assembly Lead and/or Supervisor.

Role Qualifications:
Must work as a member of the assembly team to assist in meeting schedules and completing assignments in a timely manner at the direction of the Assembly Lead.

Must be flexible working in a Job Shop oriented environment on multiple product types.

As a Assembly Technician II must be willing to build on knowledge already gained from 1-2 years experience working on Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical and Pneumatic Assemblies.

Position Responsibilities:
Utilizes hand and power tools such as drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, crimpers, wire cutters, taps, rulers, etc. in assembly work.

Builds up varied and complicated sub-assemblies and mounts parts and sub-assemblies to chassis, frames work, panels as required.

Routes and connects electrical harnesses, discrete wiring and some electrical power supplies and electrical systems..

Assembles manifolds, valves, gauges, switches, fittings and hardware as designated.

Responsible for first-line visual quality inspection of work performed.

Responsible for organization of tools and work station cleanliness.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

5+ years experience in component level trouble shooting and repair
1+ year working knowledge of all brands of pumps, valves, motors, and cylinders
1+ year working knowledge of troubleshooting hydraulic circuits
High school diploma or GED

Previous supervision and leadership skills
Purchasing experience
Hydraulics certification
Bending tube and pipe experience
General welding skills

Desired characteristics:
Ability to work from drawings, prints, schematics, diagrams, bills of materials, customer specifications and written/verbal instructions
