Scope of Position
To lead clients through the assessment process.
To assist the client with her/his understanding of her/his skills and abilities.
Facilitate group and individual assessment activities.
Ensure clients gain necessary information to complete assessment process.
Provide staff with insight into clients performance during assessment process.
Provide timely reports for the Program Manager regarding client performance.
Help clients to understand how to interpret assessment results.
Help clients to understand how assessment results can be applied to future training and/or job opportunities.
Accurately complete required documentation and paperwork.
Administer the various assessments: TABE, Skilldex
Assist in the completion of the employment development plan, if necessary.
Conduct disposition meetings with Workforce Counselors.
Complete the disposition form.
Ensure clients are making their participation requirements during assessment.
Document case notes.
Facilitate group-learning activities through specified curriculum.
Experience and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in human services, business, education, training, human resources, liberal arts or related area is preferred.
A working knowledge of MS Windows, Word and Excel.
Ability to prioritize tasks and document client assessment process and contacts.
Demonstrated telephone, computer and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to apply a positive approach, creativity, imagination, and perseverance to assist clients with the assessment process.
Must have notable experience in a team-oriented environment.
