Academic Affairs: Program Support Coordinator
(Assessment). University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey,
School of Osteopathic Medicine, is currently seeking an Assessment
Specialist (Program Support Coordinator) to join its Department of
Academic Affairs. This is a full-time opportunity located in
Stratford, NJ. Under the direction of the Assistant Dean for
Education, you will be responsible for providing technical
assistance and support to faculty and staff, academic departments
and programs, and the Program Evaluation and Assessment Committee
in the assessment of educational programs and student learning to
meet accreditation requirements and to fulfill the mission of the
school. You will also be responsible for providing expertise on the
design and implementation of assessment strategies and
interpretation of data related to program quality; student
competence and learning outcomes; and institutional effectiveness.
In addition, you will participate in all aspects of assessment
including data collection, data management and reporting. Position
requires a Master's Degree in a relevant field with training in
assessment, research methods and statistics; along with a minimum
of two years (three years preferred) of related experience
preferably in a higher education setting. Experience with
institution and learner assessment within a medical school setting
is desirable. Candidate experience should also include data
collection, management and analysis; report preparation; and
statistical and analytical research methods. Proficiency in the use
of statistical software and data analysis, databases, and Microsoft
Office Suite; along with demonstrated accuracy, attention to
detail, strong organizational skills and excellent written and oral
communication skills are essential. In addition, demonstrated
ability to work independently, as well as in a team; and to
effectively collaborate with faculty, administrators, diverse
populations and constituencies at all levels of the organization is
required. Equivalent education, experience and/or training may be
