Position Overview:
Responsible for providing routine library services to students, faculty and staff in accordance with established policies and procedures. Compiles records. Sorts and shelves library materials according to classification codes. Issues,receives and stores library materials. Researches and processes information in the library's data management system. Issues borrower identification cards. Provides patrons with assistance in locating materials and assists in locating materials. Performs or assists with special projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Detail oriented, effective customer service skills, good verbal and written communication skills, strong time management skills, and multitasking capabilities are all required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook or similar applications is required. Required Computer Skills:
MS Word
MS Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:
Some related experience preferred.
Library software and classification systems preferred.
