Provide the highest and most efficient level of service expected by our guests.
Provide meaningful contributions to the daily roll call meetings, skills training and feedback meetings with staff.
Maintain cleanliness and order in all FOH service and bar storage areas, service stations; paying particular attention to code, sanitation, GAP, QA, SALT and responsible vendor standards.
Assist with weekly staff and management scheduling according to forecast; be proactive in staffing as business fluctuates.
Contribute to the minimization of overtime hours through creative scheduling.
Serve as an example of proper grooming and dress; work to enforce uniform and grooming standards amongst staff.
Always monitor the cleanliness of Pool and beach area and assist in towel and trash maintenance.
Interact with guests and answer questions on the Resort and the area, promoting other Food & Beverage outlets at the Resort wherever possible. Assist guest in making reservations and any needs if required.
Provide managerial coverage in the absence of Pool and Beach Manager; handle guest complaints, staff concerns, follow up on assigned tasks by management
Provide helpful insight to management regarding improvements in beverage operation
Constantly strive to assist and train new staff members, assistants and supervisors to ensure successful development of individuals
Active in Responsible Vendor program; ensure staff participation in same
Aid with departmental attendance at pre-con meetings
Assist with month-end inventories.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by manager
Must be able to be the “cabana specialist.” In an effort to create a stable identity to the position, all aspects of the cabana operation, including Butler staff, would be managed by the Manager
Responsible for all revenue generated in connection with the cabana operation including all record keeping, posting procedures and gratuity disbursements
Some college education. Must speak/read/write and understand English fluently.
Minimum 2-4 years experience in high volume restaurant/hotel beverage operation. Minimum one-year management/supervisory experience. Must be able to sit, stand, stoop or bend for duration of shift (at least 8 hours).
