St. Bonaventure University is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Director for Regional Recruitment to develop, strengthen and expand key relationships with leaders in education and communities in the New York Metro Area. Essential to this role, the candidate would have a strong entrepreneurial spirit with proven success in recruiting and in meeting enrollment goals. Central functions would also involve traditional responsibilities such as travel to attract and subsequently enroll freshman and transfer students; develop and implement targeted programming efforts and activities; manage a territory throughout the admission cycle, counsel prospective students and parents; assist guidance professionals and the community to better understand the benefits of a St. Bonaventure University education. Collaborates with admissions leadership to design and implement an effective strategic recruitment plan; and implement recruitment efforts with other Admissions counselors, alumni, and other volunteers and organizing special events.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with three years of direct experience in college admissions. Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills and demonstrate acute attention to detail, strong organization and problem solving abilities. Extensive travel with evening, night, and weekend work required.
