Working under the direct supervision of the Director of ACE Enrollment Management Services with limited independent judgment, the Assistant Director assists the Director in providing operational, programmatic, and process improvement leadership for the Office of Enrollment Management Services in the division of Adult and Continuing Education. She/he is responsible for supervising front office staff, scheduling to ensure adequate office coverage, ensuring timely and accurate student registrations, monitoring and troubleshooting registration issues, working closely with the College Bursar to resolve accounts receivable in a timely manner, processing student refunds in a timely manner, reconciliation of third party receivables and governmental tuition assistance programs, as well as developing and implementing processes and systems for efficient and accurate registration as well as a variety of management reports. Additionally, the Assistant Director assists the Director to develop and evaluate programs administered in the Enrollment Management office. This job requires a high degree of organizational skills, communication skills, initiative, ability to manage multiple simultaneous deadlines, speed and accuracy, ability to effectively work in a high-paced environment, and attention to detail. Some night and weekend services are required at peak registration times. In the absence of the Director of ACE Enrollment Management Services, the Assistant Director of ACE Enrollment Management Services shall assume the responsibility for operations of ACE Enrollment Management Services office.
Other Duties:
Oversee daily operations of registration, payment and refund activities for ACE tuition-based courses;
• Assist in the evaluation of operations and make recommendation for improving effectiveness;
• Act as a leader regarding enrollment and customer service policies, procedures, standards, and requirements;
• Supervise ACE Enrollment Management Office staff; schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage during registration periods;
• Supervise the preparation and/or editing of the class schedule in Peopleware, Certain and Ektron; and the distribution and dissemination of the class schedule;
• Assist the Director in monitoring class sizes; adjusting schedules to meet appropriate class sizes;
• Assist the Director in establishing, monitoring, and maintaining operational and program records, ensuring that proper controls are followed;
• Establish, implement, and maintain databases and systems to generate a variety of management reports related to enrollment and outcomes;
• Perform other related duties as assigned. Salary: $55,000 - $65,000

Core Competencies/Qualifications:
BA/BS degree from an accredited college required. Masters Degree preferred;
• 5 years experience, including supervisory; higher education experience preferred;
• Bilingual preferred.
