The Assistant Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management will strategically work with the Assistant Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid and the Associate Dean/COO to implement a successful recruitment and communication plan to enroll a qualified and diverse class. This will include creating reports and analyzing data, managing applicant data, coordinating electronic communications, reviewing and evaluating applications, overseeing the recruitment activities and programs both on and off campus, and serving as one of the primary points of contact while cultivating relationships with external and internal constituents (students, pre-law advisors, alumni, faculty, staff, and peers). The Assistant Director will be required to work independently.
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and three years of experience working in recruitment/admissions/enrollment management in higher education is required. A master's degree is preferred. In lieu of experience, candidates with a JD from an accredited college/university will be considered. Previous experience working in recruitment/admissions/enrollment management for an ABA accredited law school is desirable. The successful candidate must possess exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation skills. In addition, the Assistant Director must have the ability to understand, promote, and support the law school's academic missions and procedures. The ability to manage data and knowledge of statistical methods or interpretation of statistics is also required, as well as knowledge of electronic data management systems.
