Daily review and timely response to TMA work requests; email messages; daily review and timely response of telephone messages; and proper out-of-office notification for phone and email communication. Responsible for providing supervision of the maintenance and repair residential life of buildings. Coordinate the housekeeping functions; ensure that work orders from the Work Management system are completed within time appropriate. Make daily inspections of all residential life buildings for compliance with environmental (cleanness), health and safety standards.Formulate, supervise and implement a preventive maintenance program including scheduled inspections and repairs. Establish building maintenance inspections on periodic and recurring basis. Provide monthly feedback to staff and management with a written building condition report.Conduct regular meeting of immediate subordinates and discuss operational concerns with Housing staff. Conduct regular housing inspections and monitor quality assurance reports. Review with supervisory staff the current monthly building condition reports. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor to include but not limited to responding to emergencies.
Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, valid Virginia driver license. Numerous years of supervisory experience in mechanical engineering, building trade and related work experience in facilities and energy management.
