This Assistant Director of Food & Beverage will be focus on and be wholely responsible for the banqueting and meeting operations of this iconic hotel property. The role reports to the Director of Operations and oversees Director of Catering and Director of Banquets. The skills needed and expecations of the role are as follows:
Overview: This role is responsible for the oversight / coordination of our complete Banquet, Meetings and Events Operations, representing well over $125MM in annual sales.
Background: Strong F & B and Operational knowledge, experience in Luxury Hotel Operations. A reputation as a Leader who will not compromise on the Customer and Associate experience.
Skill Sets: A visible Leader, a skilled Coach and developer of talent, an eye for detail, superb administrative skills, a creative mind.
Career Growth: This position is an extension of the Hotel's Senior Management Team. Must be able to play a key role in all aspects of Hotel Operations, including Rooms and Revenue Management. This is a position for a future GM.

What will I be doing?
As an Assistant Director of Food and Beverage, you would be responsible for assisting in the direction and organization of activities and services of all hotel food and beverage outlets (restaurants, lounges, room service, coffee shops, etc.) in the hotelÆs continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
What are we looking for?
- Assist in the management of all Food and Beverage operations to include, but not limited to, guest service, food and beverage quality, inventory management, outlet reservations and occupancy, systems management, budget and forecasting, marketing, report generation, department management and meeting participation and facilitation
- Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
- Develop and implement menus and food and beverage marketing strategies in partnership with the Director and the culinary team
- Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
- Recruit, interview and train team members
