The Housing Authority of the County of Santa Clara is currently seeking an Assistant Director of Policy to assist the Director of Housing Programs in planning, managing and overseeing the activities and operations of the Housing Programs Department; assist in the development of the Departments short and long range work plans; to formulate guidelines and policies and to oversee the implementation of programs and systems. The Assistant Director of Policy also coordinates activities with other Authority departments, divisions, and outside agencies and provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Director of Housing Programs. Education: Bachelors degree in Social or Behavioral Sciences, Public or Business Administration or related field. A Masters degree in a relevant field is preferred. Experience: A minimum of four years of increasingly responsible management experience in housing programs and property management administration including five years of supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.
