The Assistant Director of Ticket Sales is a ten (10) month fellowship position beginning on May 1, 2013 and ending on March 1, 2014. Start/end date is negotiable. The position will be involved in the strategic development, implementation, and activation of ticket sales strategies, with a core focus on Football and Men†s Basketball. This position is part of the Ohio Ticket Sales Team in partnership with Legends Sales & Marketing (Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees) and the Ohio University Center for Sports Administration. The primary responsibilities of this position will be to assist in the development and execution of departmental sales and marketing strategies (including reaching sales targets and goals), manage, create and track sales databases, develop call scripts, as well as call-flow, objection and closing strategies, direct prospecting and lead-generation efforts for season, individual game and group sales, analyze sales data and develop postseason recaps of selling efforts, and assist in the execution of gameday sales and marketing efforts. Candidate must be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
