POSITION SUMMARY
The Associate Editor helps to develop materials for assigned customers and brands areas that are grammatically and editorially sound and adhere to client and inhouse styles. The Associate Editor also manages and coordinates materials through internal and external processes.Key responsibilities Serves as an editorial resource for assigned customers and brands- Edits, styles, and formats print and multimedia materials; ensures they adhere to client and inhouse styles- Manages/coordinates materials through internal and external processes (eg, graphic design/layout, quality control, client/account review)- Incorporates client and faculty comments with direction from writers- Fact checks materials to ensure accuracy- Formats materials that do not go through Creative (eg, PowerPoint, Word)- Writes collateral material (eg, invitations, biographies) - Meets deadlines; communicates progress to colleagues- Works closely with colleagues to establish and manage timelines - Maintains excellent relationships with colleagues - Supports Editorial Services colleagues working on other accounts as requested
EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience.
