Our Assistant Environmental Scientists conduct field surveys using GPS equipment as well as research and prepare environmental assessments and reports to support permit applications. The works includes a mix of field assessments, report/permit preparation and travel. Other duties as assigned.
Opportunities for our Assistant Environmental Scientists exist in our Environmental and Environmental Studies & Permitting market segments in our Kansas City, Southern California, Fort Worth and Chicago locations. Specific assignments and project work varies.
We currently have a variety of nationwide, entry-level opportunities. The ideal individual will possess a minimum of 3.0 GPA, prior internship experience, involvement on campus or the community and a strong work ethic.
Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Botany, Wildlife or Soil Science preferred.
Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient computer skills
Prior permitting experience beneficial
Field work and some travel required
