We are currently seeking an Assistant Executive Housekeeper. The compensation level for this position is similar to that of many select-service Executive Housekeepers in the market with comparatively less overall responsibility, and the position will allow you to gain valuable experience working with a larger team in a full-service environment. Assistant Executive Housekeepers work with the Director of Housekeeping and the housekeeping supervisory team to ensure a superior level of cleanliness is maintained in the hotel’s guest rooms and public areas through constant inspection, staff training and development, and leadership.
The ideal Assistant Executive Housekeeper candidate will possess extremely high standards in the results they expect from themselves and their team, strong interpersonal communication skills, a superior eye for detail, and exemplary leadership and motivational skills. A clear understanding of guest service in an upscale hotel environment is also a must.
This position is primarily late day shift, and requires the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and some holidays. The physical demands include walking and standing to a significant degree, as well as the ability to perform and demonstrate housekeeping chores, which could involve lifting, bending, and stretching.
At least two years’ experience as an Executive Housekeeper or equivalent (department head) at any type of hotel or a minimum of five years’ experience as an Assistant Executive Housekeeper or Inspector/Supervisor at a 4-star or better hotel.
Proven track record of success at prior hotel, with high cleanliness scores and high standards.
High School graduate or equivalent.
