Responsible for assisting with food and beverage production, service and financial performance for the club. Works with the Food and Beverage Managers to develop and maintain maximum member, guest, and other customer satisfaction in all restaurants and banquet facilities. Assists in the supervision of Head Servers, servers, bartenders and bussers in all food and beverage outlets. Recommends employment, trains and supervises subordinates. Performs all duties with a focus on exceptional customer service for both internal and external customers, attention to detail and sensitivity for confidential material.

Description:
Assists with the sales, marketing and membership relations programs to promote the club's services and facilities to member prospects and current members and guests.
Interacts with members and guests and conscientiously tends to their dining needs, ensuring an enjoyable club experience.
Monitors policies relating to personnel, training and professional development programs. Recommends employment, supervises, and trains club personnel. Assists in assuring that effective orientation and training for new staff and professional development activities for experienced staff are implemented.
Assists in room set-up of all food and beverage outlets. Assists in creating a high standard of appearance in service personnel and the cleanliness of all food preparation and related areas.
Inspects to ensure that all safety, sanitation, energy management, preventive maintenance and other standards are consistently met
Helps to assure that all standard operating procedures for sales and cost control are in place and consistently utilized
Works to curb absenteeism and their results
Assists to ensure that all legal requirements are consistently adhered to, including wage and hour and federal, state and/or local laws pertaining to alcoholic beverages
Researches new products and develops an analysis of the cost/profit benefits
Along with the Food and Beverage Manager, reviews new techniques for food preparation and presentation in a manner and variety to maximize member and guest satisfaction and to minimize food COS
Consults with the Executive Chef and other department heads on a regular basis to help assure the highest level of guest satisfaction at minimum cost
Greets guests and oversees actual service on a routine, random basis. Assists in taking reservations and checks table reservation schedules. Circulates throughout the club observing preparation and service techniques. Pours coffee and takes orders when necessary
Assures that all side work is accomplished and all cleaning of equipment and storage areas is completed according to schedule. Directs pre-meal meetings with dining room personnel. Relays information and policy changes and briefs personnel.
Assists in developing on-going training programs for food production, service and bar production/service personnel. Works to ensure proper handling procedures to minimize china glassware breakage and food waste
Personally handles selected member and guest complaints and advises superior about appropriate corrective actions .
Develops interesting ways of promoting club functions
Assures that the dining room and other club areas are secure at the end of the business day
Is accountable to the Food and Beverage Managers for proper interpretation and fulfi1lment of functions, specific and general responsibilities and related authorities and relationships with other members of the club
Other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements:
Minimum if 2 years college education, bachelors degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management preferable.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
Several years experience in managing/supervising a team of people
Knowledge of PCs, Windows, and Microsoft Office is required; familiarity with the timekeeping systems and IBS or Jonas systems is preferred.
Valid Florida Food Manager Certificate
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
