The Hyatt Regency Crystal City's Assistant Food & Beverage Manager position is part of a rotation program within the Food & Beverage Division. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, is detail oriented, can multi-task with ease, is a quick learner, possess the endless desire to deliver extraordinary customer service and has the desire to grow quickly within the Food & Beverage Division for future career growth. The quarterly rotation involves all facets of the food and beverage operation to include Stewarding, Convention Services Floor, Banquets and Restaurants. During the 3-month rotation, the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager's responsibilities would entail (but not limited to) interviewing, discipline, associate recognition, ordering of supplies and equipment, daily and weekly payroll submission, weekly scheduling, planning and facilitating departmental meetings, completion of Hyatt training courses designed specifically for manager development and compliance issues.

Strong verbal and written communication
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
Customer Service and Associate focused
Developed time and task management skills
Proficient in basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office systems
Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
Prior supervisory/management experience a plus
Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred
Required hotel or restaurant experience at any level or a degree in Hospitality/Restaurant Management
