Graphic Designers create brand specific on-apparel artwork. Through vintage and inspirational shopping, marketing and internet research, Graphic Designers develop seasonal graphic concepts for a wide range of apparel categories. After a concept is initialized, A&F graphic designers will work with the Research & Development team in our state-of-the art Innovation & Design Center to develop cutting edge print, appliqué, and embroidery techniques in each brand's handwriting. Collaboration and creating a working partnership with Design and Merchandising teams to put the most trend-right graphics into our stores is extremely important in order to achieve the best results. Graphic Designers are highly creative, artistic, passionate about the brands, and have a witty sense of humor.
The Graphic Design Training Program is an intensive multi-week orientation that will build upon your formal design education and give you the tools necessary to apply that knowledge and experience here at A&F. Through on-the-job training and interactive classroom sessions, you will develop a solid foundation of the designer's responsibilities throughout the product cycle.
