Position Title: Assistant HR Analyst Reports to: Manager, HR Location: Home Office - New Albany, OH Position Summary The Assistant HR Analyst provides analytical and project support in the Human Resources department. The primary responsibilities include compiling of data and developing metrics for further analysis by HR functional teams. Additional responsibilities will include acceptance testing for Store and HR related systems. Responsibilities: Maintains & distributes metrics and related statistical reports User acceptance testing for Store and HR related systems Employment eligibility monitoring for workforce compliance efforts Analyze business activities to identify opportunities for HR and recommend solutions. Areas of focus include but are not limited to: Market research/benchmarking Retention Compensation Succession planning and talent management Manager movement and promotional activity Associate satisfaction Workforce planning Employment law compliance Associate performance/intellectual capital Performs other duties as assigned BA/BS degree required (preferably in Computer Science & Engineering, Operations Management, Human Resources or related field) 1 to 2 years of relevant experience or internship experience is preferred Strong data analysis and problem solving abilities Advanced MS Excel experience (macros, pivot tables, formula composition, etc.) Advanced MS Access experience preferred (primary keys, field formatting, forms, reports, etc.) Team player with an interest in process efficiency and effectiveness Understanding of gap analysis preferred Experience with time study methods preferred
