What we’re looking for:

As Assistant Manager of Service Vendors, you will be part of our Operations team, providing the best possible experience for each and every client. In particular, you will manage the tailoring aspects of Trunk Club’s business. As you interface directly with clients and vendors, you will develop a tailoring processes to ensure we are delivering our products as efficiently as possible. You posses the following skills:
  • Prior experience streamlining and improving processes to enhance service levels
  • Prior experience managing external vendors
  • A hands-on learner, ready to jump in and understand tailoring
  • Someone who knows how to deliver an outstanding customer experience
  • Ability to master tailoring industry terminology and process
What you’ll be working on:
  • Market research and analysis of the tailoring industry
  • Holding external vendors accountable for meeting service level agreements
  • Researching and on-boarding external service providers
  • Accountable for all tailoring processes for the company
  • Developing a timely and transparent experience for stylists and customers
  • Act as the liaison between our tailors, stylists and customers
  • Manage all garment inventory in various stages of the tailoring process
  • Coordinate drop-off, pick-up and delivery of tailored garments between Trunk Club, Stylists and Customers
  • Problem solve all tailoring issues and provide proper follow-up resolution to Customers/Stylists
  • Manage rush orders
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3-6 years of experience in customer service, operations, management or related field
  • At least 2 years of management experience required
  • Ability to be forward thinking and help shape the tailoring process
  • Capable of executing all functions and being totally hands-on
  • Extraverted personality with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Extremely organized and diligent
  • Identifies inefficiencies and continues to evolve processes
  • A top performer with a great attitude!
