Overview

:

The Assistant Marketing Manager, Mobile Strategy is responsible for the management and support of the marketing strategy for the mobile team at macys.com. The Assistant Manager will support the company’s marketing efforts in driving incremental sales in-store and online through innovative multichannel tactics.

Key Accountabilities

:

Maintain mobile marketing calendar

Create/submit creative project briefs for mobile app, mobile commerce, SMS and mobile email assets.

Review all creative assets for accuracy and marketing effectiveness.

Prepare for & attend appropriate meetings to manage projects through the macys.com marketing pipeline.

Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and deliver successful marketing campaigns for all mobile products (mobile app, mobile commerce, SMS, mobile emails)

Track competitors’ marketing tactics and integrate findings into macys.com marketing strategy.

Skills Summary

:

BA/BS Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

1-3 years of Marketing experience, mobile preferred.

Demonstrate strong communication, analytical and project management skills; must be able to juggle multiple tasks.

Superior leadership skills.

Shows potential for advancement.

Outstanding relationship-building skills and team player.

Able to interface with all levels of executive with a positive/collaborative approach.

Ability to work in fast paced environment and willing to reprioritize project tasks while maintaining deadlines and goals.

Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, & Lotus Notes.
