We are currently seeking an innovative Assistant
Marketing Manager to join for our fast-growing Coins Division at The Bradford
Group! This individual will be responsible for running a segment of the
company’s business with full ownership and responsibility for each product
throughout its life cycle. The Assistant
Marketing Manager will work to maximize profitable contribution to the Coins
Division P&L through the use of sophisticated direct marketing planning and
execution. Ideal candidates will have
previous experience leading cross-functional groups to complete the various
action items required for successful product launch and management.

Responsibilities:
Manage
assigned product line while constantly searching for new areas for growth.

Identify
and develop multi-channel marketing strategies leveraging direct mail,
package inserts, space publications, e-mail and web
Develop
complex direct marketing plans, based off a thorough analysis of
historical results. Search
proactively for new segments and market areas to test
Conceptualize
new control-beating advertisements; proofread and provide feedback on
advertising components.
Develop original
and well-researched concepts for new products that demonstrate market
viability, considering aspects such as projected circulation, response
rate and contribution
After an
original concept is approved, work closely with product development,
advertising, sourcing, customer service and other marketing support groups
to ensure that marketing strategies are effectively implemented from conception
through fulfillment.
Maintain
schedules and other organizational tools, including Bradford’s various
marketing systems, to promote efficiency and accuracy in both the planning
and execution stages of each product.
Efficiently
balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating a
strong attention to detail.
Forecast
future needs and place orders accordingly.

Bachelors
degree required
3-5 years
of marketing or product management experience, preferably within a direct
marketing or catalog company
Self-motivated,
energetic and hard working
Strong
entrepreneurial drive
Excellent
aptitude for statistical/financial analysis
Excellent
written and verbal communication
