THE JOB : Currently accepting resumes for an Assistant Media Buyer
THE PLACE : Beautiful, sunny Fort Lauderdale
THE RESPONSIBILITIES :
Assist the Media Buying department with all administrative facets of the day-to-day job.
Day to Day Duties:
Assist in the billing process/gathering of pre/post log times and continuous follow-up with vendors to ensure flawless airing of schedules.
Provide general administrative support including, but not limited to:
Photocopying, faxing, and general administrative duties
Retrieval of invoices
Verifying contract confirmations
Receiving times at 5pm for all buyers accounts (broadcast)
Data entry in various Zimmerman programs
Media buying: revisions, cancellations, moving spots, minor changes to reach/frequencies, opening up buying estimates placing schedules
Requires immaculate communication with stations
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or relevant, equivalent experience.
Must be computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook/Express, with the ability to learn new computer systems.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while working independently
Strong attention to detail
A strong sense of urgency and commitment to get the job done quickly and with high quality
The ability to communicate, both written and verbal, with people at all levels of an organization
