Clark University seeks a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Assistant Operations Director and International Student Coordinator in the central graduate admissions office. He/she will serve on the operations team which is responsible for processing all applications to graduate programs at Clark University. In addition, this position will be the international student coordinator which entails preparing all documentation needed to issue an I-20. This will require working closely with Clark’s Office of Intercultural Affairs.
The main responsibility for this position will be to assist with the processing of graduate applications utilizing the Slate Admissions platform. This requires communicating with individual students regarding any application issues, assisting with data entry, and working on prospect mailings. He/she will serve as the main contact person for international prospective students. This involves being in close contact with accepted international students to insure that all required documentation is secured, so that an I-20 can be issued. Other responsibilities include attending recruitment events such as information sessions, college fairs, and conferences.
A bachelor’s degree is required and two years of experience in a higher education admission-related position. Some experience coordinating documentation needed to issue an I-20 is preferred. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Banner software, Microsoft Suite, and the SLATE online application system. Review of applications will begin immediately.
