Oversees processing for First Time Homebuyer programs: Plans & coordinates work assignments for Homeownership support staff; ensures timely completion, quality & accuracy of records & files for Homeownership programs through periodic audits & other means; manages process for cash receipts, loan subordinations & responds to foreclosure complaints; solves problems by working with internal & external customers; supervises support staff, provides day to day direction, completes performance evaluations, encourages professional development & administers discipline; hires & trains permanent & temporary support staff.
Oversees Homebuyer Education for OHFA First Time Homebuyer programs: Develops methods for monitoring & quality control of homebuyer education; continually improves OHFA Homebuyer Education programs in ways that strengthen homebuyers & improve loan performance.
Keeps up-to-date on program guidelines, policies & procedures: Uses technology such as Lender-On-Line for loan tracking & analysis; prepares & formats reports; participates on Homeownership management team & other internal work groups; identifies problems & makes recommendations for improvements on programs & procedures; assists Lender Liaison in maintaining lender database & training new lenders.
Responds to consumer inquiries regarding OHFA Homeownership Programs: Represents OHFA at consumer related events; coordinates participation of Homeownership staff in outreach events.

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field preferred And 3 years of experience in mortgage loan operations, housing compliance or homebuyer education And 1 year of experience supervising professional staff And Excellent written and oral communications skills.
