The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Delaware invites applications for a temporary one-year position, renewable for a period up to three years, at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning September 1, 2013. The position involves teaching general chemistry for life sciences and engineering majors. We seek candidates holding a Ph.D. in chemistry or biochemistry who have a demonstrated record of successful teaching experience, a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, and an interest in curriculum reform, active learning pedagogies and interdisciplinary teaching.
