Duties and Responsibilities
Teach and develop undergraduate and graduate courses in the area of computer and electrical engineering, teach via various distance delivery modes as required.
Develop externally funded research programs that result in publications in leading scholarly journals, publish research work, supervise graduate students, and provide departmental, college, and university service.
An earned Ph.D. (ABD will be considered) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline is required with a strong background in engineering and expertise in a research area.
Disciplines to be considered includes but are not limited to computer security and privacy, mobile systems (software and hardware), distributed systems (large-scale data processing, cloud computing), cyber physical systems, computer systems (e.g., storage, OS, architecture), and networks.
Applicants must show a strong commitment to teaching excellence and mentoring at the undergraduate and graduate levels, conducting research, and publishing scholarly materials.
