Assistant Professor, Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics Oregon State University. Responsibilities include teaching graduate and undergraduate level courses in environmental economics and policy. Developing a research program in applied economics, environmental risk and applied policy. Position is a full/part time, 12/9-month, tenure-track position.
Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Required qualifications include Ph.D. in resource and environmental economics, economics, or a related field. Demonstrated ability or significant potential for: teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels; developing a recognized research program in the area of specialization; securing external funding in support of the research program; ability to engage in multidisciplinary research; good verbal and written communication skills; and working collaboratively, cooperatively and collegially with diverse audiences.
Preferred qualifications include experience in the areas listed of university teaching, research and scholarly work; successful external funding record; and professional engagements in a multidisciplinary setting; research experience in decision-making under risk and uncertainty; and a demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.
