Full-time tenure track assistant professor in the Graphic Design Program beginning fall of 2013. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate courses in graphic design studio, theory, history, 2D motion design and web design. The successful candidate will be required to coordinate and maintain the Macintosh computer studios. Other responsibilities will include advising BFA students, committee service, continued professional activity and teaching within the college's core curriculum.
MFA in Graphic Design, New Media, Motion Design, Interactive Design, or related field. Professional creative experience, including a strong comprehensive production record. Proficiency with Macintosh computers. Comprehensive knowledge of industry standard design software as evidenced by professional portfolio samples. Demonstrated software proficiency in motion graphics, web, and visual communication design. Prior teaching at the college/university level. Affiliation with professional organizations.
