Assistant Professor Political Science

The Department of Political Science at the University of Northern Iowa invites applications for a tenure-track position in public policy. The position is full-time at the rank of assistant professor and begins in August 2014. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in public policy. Areas of specialization within public policy are open. The ability to contribute to our undergraduate public administration program is also desirable.

Education Requirements:
An earned PhD in political science is required for appointment at the assistant professor level; ABDs with evidence of completion within one year will be considered for appointment at the instructor level.

Required Qualifications:
Evidence of both teaching effectiveness and research effectiveness required.
