The University of Northern Iowa invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the criminology program to begin August 2014. Area of research and teaching specialization is open. Completed Ph.D. in sociology, criminology, criminal justice, or related field by the time of appointment is required. ABDs in an above field from a nationally or internationally-recognized doctoral program with evidence of degree completion by August 2014 will be considered. Evidence of teaching quality and potential for high quality research and publishing agenda are required. The teaching load is 3-3.

Education Requirements:
Completed Ph.D. in sociology, criminology, criminal justice, or related field by the time of appointment is required. ABDs in an above field from a nationally or internationally-recognized doctoral program with evidence of degree completion by August 2014 will be considered.

Evidence of teaching quality and potential for high quality research and publishing agenda are required.

Desirable Qualifications:
