The Department of Social Work at Alabama A&M University is currently recruiting a 9 month, one tenure track assistant professor position. This position includes teaching, student advisement, curriculum development, and field liaison assignments in the graduate social work program.
RESPONSIBILITIES Applicant must be able to teach in at least two curriculum content areas, such as human behavior, policy, research, and practice. The ability to teach practice is preferred.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess an MSW degree and an earned doctorate in social work or a closely related field; at least two years, post MSW practice experience, evidence of the potential to conduct research and scholarly activities. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations; and social work education experience at the graduate level preferred.
