The Department of Exercise and Sport Science is seeking a 9-month tenure-track faculty member in Sport Management. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate coursework in Sport Management, perform scholarly activity, and provide service to the department, university and the profession. No student advising required.
Minimum Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
A doctoral degree in Sports Management or related from a regionally accredited institution is required.
Minimum Experience Qualifications:
Previous college teaching experience, evidence of excellent teaching, evidence of scholarly productivity or potential, experience with classroom technology including Blackboard and web-based technology.
Commitment to work effectively and collegially with diverse faculty, students and staff. Previous experience teaching or ability to teach Sport Finance, Sport Marketing, Event & Facility Management, Sport in American Society, and Coaching Basketball preferred.
