La Roche College is currently seeking an Assistant Professor for Modern Languages.

Responsibilities include assisting with placement, testing, advising, curriculum development, and program assessment in ESL Program as well as teaching responsibilities of twelve credits per semester in ESL and/or Modern Languages. Assist in the promotion and expansion of existing programs.

Requirements: TESL certification; Doctorate in (Applied) Linguistics, TESOL, Foreign Language Education or field closely related to ESL; one or more years of full-time teaching in ESL or Modern Languages.
Preferred skills include experience in ESL program supervision; teaching a foreign language, strong leadership and organizational skills that could be used in possible future responsibilities as Department Chair
