Public Administration

The Department of Political Science at Kansas State University invites applications for a tenure track, Assistant Professor position in public administration to begin Fall 2013. Candidates should be able to offer graduate level courses in public budgeting, finance, introduction to public administration and contribute to the department’s nationally accredited MPA program. In addition, candidates should be comfortable with online and distance education instruction, and contribute to the undergraduate curriculum in political science. Applicants must present evidence of: a vibrant and well developed research agenda, high quality teaching, and a commitment to working with diverse students and colleagues and to the value of diverse ideas. Candidates should have a PhD in Political Science or Public Administration. Exceptional candidates who are ABD may be considered at the rank of instructor. Teaching load is five courses per academic year over two semesters.
