The University of Georgia, Terry College of Business invites applications from candidates whose main research and teaching focus is consumer behavior for one opening for Assistant Professor in the Department of Marketing beginning August 2013. We will consider new doctoral recipients as well as current assistant professors.
All candidates must have a Ph.D. in Marketing or a related social science field from an accredited university at the time of appointment. Appointment at the Assistant Professor level requires a demonstrated potential to publish rigorous research in premier journals. Advanced Assistant applicants require a record of publication in premier journals in the consumer behavior field as well as evidence of strong teaching. The ability to teach other marketing classes at the undergraduate and master’s level is a plus.
The Department of Marketing (
) offers the PhD, Master of Marketing Research, MBA and BBA in Marketing. It also houses the Coca-Cola Center for Marketing Studies.
