Assistant Professor

Research and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in minority health, health disparities, or closely related fields, plus other normal faculty duties.

Minimum Qualifications

PhD in Sociology or closely related discipline, evidence of outstanding potential in research and teaching, and an active program of scholarship in one or more of the priority areas: sociology of health, health disparities, or closely related emphases.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates who have a research program that includes a focus on racial or ethnic minority populations and/or who could contribute to undergraduate and graduate training in quantitative methods.
