The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wyoming invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the areas of experimental thermal sciences or energy conversion. Energy-related sciences and engineering are a strategic area targeted for growth at the University of Wyoming and excellent support is available through UW's School of Energy Resources.
The successful applicant will be expected to establish a strong, externally funded research program, and to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. He/She will be expected to participate in interdisciplinary research efforts both within and outside the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Minimum qualifications include an earned doctorate in mechanical engineering or a closely related field.
