The College of Saint Rose Communications Department seeks to fill a Full-time, Tenure Track, Assistant Professor faculty position to teach introductory and advanced courses in Public Relations and Advertising in the College’s undergraduate and graduate Communications programs beginning Fall of 2013.
Administrative tasks such as academic advising, curriculum development and program assessment will be assigned. As a member of The College of Saint Rose faculty, the applicant is expected to teach 12 credit hours of assigned courses in accordance with relevant academic policies, engage in scholarship, and to serve the College’s communities through participation in Department, School and College-wide committees and internal and external events.
The candidate must have a Ph.D. (earned doctorate or successful defense by June 30) in public relations, advertising, or a related communications field. The candidate must be well versed in traditional and new media, including social media and have a strong commitment to teaching.
Candidate reviews will begin on December 2, 2012 . The search will remain open until a qualified candidate is selected.
