Faculty members in the College of Business generally teach six sections per academic year and are expected to pursue scholarly research. Teaching assignments will include advanced-level programming, database, data warehousing and OLAP and predictive and optimization modeling. The successful candidate will also be expected to conduct meaningful applied research in one or more of these fields. Special consideration will be given to candidates with teaching and industry experience spanning both technical domains and consulting/managerial areas.

Minimum Qualifications

A Ph.D. in Information Systems, Applied Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a closely related field with a strong foundation in Business Applications is required. Demonstrated evidence of teaching effectiveness with excellent communication skills and commitment to scholarly research is required. The ideal candidate will have high-level technical skills in programming, database and predictive analytics.
