The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Manhattan College seeks an Assistant Professor with demonstrated evidence of scholarly achievement for a tenure track appointment beginning August 1, 2013. Candidates should already possess a PhD degree or will complete one by the time of the appointment in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field.
Qualified individuals with experience and/or education in Digital Systems, Electronics, Instrumentation, or their applications are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of VLSI technologies including FPGAs, or industrial experience will enhance the application. The successful applicant will join a faculty who are committed to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels and to providing services to the college and the profession. Class sizes are small and consideration will be given to research and grant-related activities. Electrical and Computer Engineering programs within the department are accredited by ABET.
