The University of Wyoming, School of Pharmacy offers an 11-month, non-tenure track faculty position in internal medicine at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice. The clinical practice site is located at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center, Denver, CO. Responsibilities include: 1) team teach didactic courses, 2) precept fourth year pharmacy students during internal medicine rotations, 3) educate internal medicine residents and faculty, 4) establish and maintain an advanced hospital pharmacy practice with an internal medicine service and 5) participate in academic service and scholarly activity. Candidates must be highly motivated to excel in teaching and pharmacy practice. Qualifications include a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited program and eligibility for pharmacy licensure in Colorado. Completion of a pharmacy practice residency (PGY1) or equivalent experience is required. Specialty residency (PGY2) or fellowship experience is preferred. The School of Pharmacy is located about 2 ½ hours north of Denver in Laramie, Wyoming.
