The School of Psychological Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology position beginning August 2014.
Responsibilities include teaching within the undergraduate program that emphasizes the following core areas: Biological Bases, Learning & Cognition, Group & Individual Differences, and Developmental Psychology. Additional responsibilities include mentoring undergraduate students in research, developing a personal research program, and service to the unit and University. The position will chair dissertations/theses and teach a course within the SoPS graduate program.

The SoPS has sixteen full-time faculty and offers programs in undergraduate psychology with concentrations in occupational science, pre-physical therapy, and clinical counseling studies, an MA clinical psychology program, and an APA -accredited PsyD program in clinical psychology. Required Education/Experience/Skills (Minimum Qualifications)
Preference will be given to applicants with a doctorate in psychology who are able to teach in multiple cores areas. ABDs may be considered with the expectation of degree completion prior to the start date. Demonstrated or potential excellence in teaching, research, obtaining grant funding, and mentoring undergraduate students is expected. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
