Religious Studies: Aesthetics of Faith
Manhattan College seeks a tenure-track assistant professor of Religious Studies with expertise in the Aesthetics of Faith. The ideal candidate will be broadly trained in the study of religion and have specialist knowledge in the arts (visual, performing, literary, and/or musical) in the Catholic tradition. The candidate must be able to teach the introductory course in religious studies required of all students as well as courses in the College’s Catholic studies area. Ordinarily the candidate will hold a doctoral degree in religious studies or theology.
Manhattan College is a Roman Catholic college in the Lasallian tradition located in the Riverdale section of New York City.
