Position Summary:
This is an off campus work study job located at the South Valley Economic Development Center (318 Isleta SW). A work study award is required for this position.
Delicious New Mexico is looking to change the way consumers view local food. By connecting farmers with producers with restaurants with festivals and events, we believe we can give New Mexico businesses an advantage locally and around the country.
The non-profit Rio Grande Community Development Corporation is looking for a student to help with the project development and management of the Delicious New Mexico project to form a network for value-added food producers. Responsibility will include management support for events, member outreach, project development, research, grant support, database maintenance, public relations support including web presence, social media and blogging services.
20-30 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills. Comfortable in a management environment, coordinating projects, working independently, and taking a leadership role. Bilingual preferred, but not required
