Assistant Property Manager
The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for assisting the Property Manager with the routine operation of the property. The purpose of this position is to provide the additional capacity needed to manage the property effectively. Responsibilities include but are not limited to Section 8/HUD/Tax Credit Compliance, processing rental applications, inspections and rent collections.
Maintain EIV compliance
Perform regular audits of site files to ensure compliance
Assisting PM with solving resident/applicant issues
Processing rent receivable and payables
Handling rent collection, eviction notices, court agreements
Processing Annual recertifications
Maintenance of the waiting lists
Processing new move in, move-outs, transfers, etc paperwork
Other tasks assigned as needed by Property Manager
Qualifications and/or Experience:
Section 8/HUD and Tax Credit experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong Leasing skills required
Must have a vehicle and valid driver’s license
YARDI experience a plus
Knowledge of MS Word and Excel
Anticipated Work Schedule : Full-time, M-F 8-5 but some weekends may be required
