We currently seek a talented professional to serve as an Assistant Purchasing Agent for our Corporate Hospitality Support Center, based in Greenville, SC. The Corporate Hospitality Support Center serves the needs of our nearly 30,000 employees in the field who operate our 250+ contracted locations. These include restaurants, professional and minor league sports stadiums, concert halls, convention centers, airports and other public entertainment venues.
This position provides administrative support to the Corporate Purchasing Department and purchases equipment and services for all field locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enter purchase orders into appropriate systems in an accurate and timely manner
Assist in product specification and quotes to our locations
Stay up to date on status of projects
Coordinate delivery schedules with contractors, facilities department field staff and GMs
Track delivery of equipment and products
Work with accounting to resolve invoice issues
Assists in coordination of various reports, RFP's and project schedules
Discuss with suppliers concerning service issues (quality, late deliveries, warranties etc.)
Expedite supplier deliveries as required
Other duties as needed
