REPORTS TO: Residence Manager

SCHEDULE: Tuesday 12PM-8:30PM, Wednesday-12PM-8:30PM, Thursday 10AM-6:30PM, Friday 10AM-6:30PM, Saturday 8AM-4:30PM

POSITIONS SUPERVISED: Skillbuilders, Medical Specialist, Cook, and other assigned direct care and support workers

JOB SUMMARY:
This management position exists only in the Mental Retardation Division. Assists the Residence Manager in supervising and coordinating activities of assigned staff. Assists in the personnel management, fiscal operations, inventory management, residential services, safety, and welfare of residents, training personnel, directing and coordinating the activities of the staff, and administration of the residence. Within the Residence Manager's guidelines, establishes clinical procedures and policies for residents and ensures that residence operations meet or exceed agency and regulatory guidelines.

RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHERS:
This is a management position that reports to the Residence Manager. The most significant activity is assisting the supervision of the managers and staff in the performance of duties directly related to the treatment of the developmentally disabled. This position is required to coordinate resident treatment with the ITT.

DUTIES

ESSENTIAL TASKS:

4. Assists in Providing Quality Assurance Oversight:
5. Assists in Assuring Consumer and Family Involvement

6. Assists in Fostering Community Relations:
General: Willingness and ability to use ICL supplied communication tools (e.g. computers, beepers, telephone, fax, etc.) regularly in the course of conducting business. Compliance with attendance rules and the ability to work on a regular schedule and has on-call responsibilities.

ADDITIONAL TASKS:
1. May be responsible for facility maintenance and reports needed repairs to the Director of Facility Maintenance.

2. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED plus 3 years EXPERIENCE PROVIDING DIRECT SERVICES TO PEOPLE WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES that includes supervisory experience. Bachelors or Associates in Human Services field may be substituted for up to 2 years of the general experience. AMAP, SCIP-R, CPR/First Aid required.

MUST HAVE CLEAN AND VALID NYS DRIVERS LICENSE.
