Assistant Softball Coach
9-month (1.0 FTE)
City State University, a NAIA institution is accepting applications for the
position of Assistant Softball Coach. The
successful candidate will assist the head softball coach with all aspects of
the softball program, including but not limited to: recruiting, scouting
opponents, assist in the planning of daily practices, off season training,
travel accommodations, monitoring academic progress, and assist the head coach
with all other assigned duties. Other duties include r unning the concessions during
all home events throughout the year, managing student workers, keeping
inventory, stocking, ordering and purchasing inventory.
successful candidate must be highly motivated to coach, possess strong
interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written skills, and provide positive
leadership in all aspects of Valley City State University and the softball
diploma, minimum of 2 years softball coaching experience, and knowledge of the
NAIA rules and regulations. Must be highly motivated with an outstanding work
ethic, show loyalty, and training experience necessary to compete at the NAIA
level. Demonstrate strong organizational skills, exceptional verbal/written
communication skills, proficient with MS products.
degree, experience playing at the college level or 2 years of experience
coaching at the college level.
