As an Assistant Store Leader your primary purpose will be to support the efforts of the Store Leader in a profitable manner for Kwik Trip, Inc. by working opposite the Store Leader’s hours. You will assist in achieving daily goals, operations, training of co-workers, recruitment, merchandising, supervision, inventory control and most importantly to ensure that the highest quality of guest service is being met on a daily basis. This is a fast paced position and the ability to multi-task is essential!

Work Schedule:
The hours for this position area a minimum of 50 hours per week and typically 10+ hour days. This is primarily a 2


shift position where Assistants will typically work Noon-10 pm or 1 pm – 11 pm during weekdays and will be required to work 2-3 weekends a month (consisting of both Saturday and Sunday shifts) depending on the needs and circumstances of the store.


Educational background normally attained through one year of specialized training beyond high school or equivalent business/retail related experience.

At least one year of work experience in the service or retail industry including experience with guest service and money handling.

Valid driver's license

At least one year of leadership experience

Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with guests and/or co-workers on a periodic basis where social sensitivity and effective interpersonal skills are necessary.

Ability to collect information from reports, records, or other available sources, establish the accuracy and summarize the information into meaningful results.

Ability to exercise sound judgment when receiving assignments in the form of results expected, due dates, and general procedures.

Ability to work 50 or more hours per week-10+ hour work days

Be available to work any shift as business needs dictate

Physical Requirements

: Ability to stand/walk 10 hours a day; ability to lift 50 lbs, reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, reach, grasp, pinch, and grip.
